I dunno about Pete but I run 64 bit on my laptop and I know several
folks that do. Just the additional memory support is worth it and 95% of
everything I use doesn't complain a whit or work any differently than on
32 bit. The biggest benefit is being able to open everything I want and
leave it open. I NEVER have delays when swapping between apps because a)
Lots of memory and b) No swap file configured.
