I have wondered if you could do something like:

--
Legal disclaimer: http://domain.com/elegal.html

And have it just as effective as if it were printed out. Because 1. who
reads that anyway, 2. Is there legal precedence to having them on there in
the first place, 3. Would it really stop someone from doing whatever the
disclaimer is preventing them from doing?

Item 1 of 2: Replies.
Back when I tried reading my email via my Palm Treo I saw why some people
really hated continual reply with histories. I have no concern with it on
my Blackberry. I rather like the reply with history because it helps me
understand the reply, or, if I blew off the email earlier the reply makes
me want to look at it. Sure, I could access the archives (on days when
adsense isn't acting up), but mostly that's not worth the effort.

Item 2 of 2: Legal disclaimers.
Don't know if preceding all legal disclaimers with the dash dash would
help clear them from email, but it would help the archives. See my
signature.
