Hi Folks, I checked the archives but couldn't find an answer to this one but here goes;
We have a usrprf, rmtuser, that is currently able to change jobs in jobqâs (move to other jobq's, delete the job from the jobq) but we want to restrict rmtuser so that it can only view jobs in jobqâs, but stop it from doing anything else to a job in a jobq. So, I guess that means restricting rmtuser to hldjob/chgjob/endjob, etc.
Usrprf rmtuser has lmtcpb = *yes and spcaut = *none but rmtuser is part of a grpprf, safety_pgm, which has usrcls = *pgmr, spcaut = *jobctl, and lmtcpb = *no. I donât want to change any of these settings to rmtuser or safety_pgm if I donât have to. So, my question is how best to restrict rmtuser from these commands?
Would using rvkobjaut on hldjob/chgjob/endjob for rmtuser work in this environment?
