HTTP connection timing out

We receive an HTTP request from a vendor which is processed with a CGI
program. In some cases the processing can take longer than 5 minutes.
However, the connection is terminated at the 5 minute mark. The vendor
doesn't receive anything. When my program completes it tries to send
back the response but receives TCP7531.(Failed writing to standard
out.).

Is there a timeout value on the AS/400 which controls this?
