call me crazy but...they call it the bleeding edge for a reason. i would
opt for v6.1 until v7.1 has been out for at least a year or so. but
that's JMO. v6.1 is very stable and i love the "new" bells and whistles
for RPG as well as some of the new additions to sys admin stuff. most
likely it will be at least a year before i can make the jump anyway since
our software (Caterpillar 1960's COBOL) has been certified for v7.1. Since
Cat no longer maintains or distributes the software i'm hoping our new
"support" group gets the cert out faster though. only time will tell....
