It's the SAN that has to be correct for support. Either the "S" Chassis or and "H" with Fibre and the proper level of SAN. VIOS is of course required in that scenario. The Blades will all support fibre attach. There are some instances where iSCSI is supported but as has been suggested I/O latency becomes an issue. Add in latency for the internet and the solution starts to not be as attractive as it could be.

Keep in mind that when Larry and I are figuring our costs we have to include power/cooling and internet connectivity.......
