Hi Pat
I had the same problem
What I did was create a member called ERRINSERT in QSQLSRC with the
following

INSERT into ERRORFILE VALUES
('file name', 'Tracking #', 'Pkg id', 'Order #', 'Error desc.',
'Customers name','Address 1', 'Address 2',
'Address 3', 'City', 'State', 'Zip','Phone',
'E-mail ', 'CC', 'Recipients Country','Origin country',
'Pkg contents', 'Pkg amt', 'Pkg wht', 'Date/Time','Act.wght',
'BOL#', 'S');

and then in my CL program

RUNSQLSTM SRCFILE(MYLIB/QSQLSRC) SRCMBR(ERRINSERT)
COMMIT(*NONE)

Prior to to the file transfer but AFTER the CLRPFM of a file that I would
then create the CSV file from

AM CSV file with a header

I have been asked to create a CSV file to send to an outside company.

They sent me a standard file layout and I created the file just fine using
a file transfer request using Access.

Got a note back and now they want a "header" record inserted as
the first record of the file. This header record is nothing but column
heading with descriptions.

Since the file has fixed field lengths, I can't just put a dummy record
there to create this stupid header.

I need to be able to store the CSV header record somewhere and copy it
as the first record on each file transfer.

Any ideas.
