This one has some pretty good examples.

I think so, there is a config file in the IFS, are you trying to dump all
contents of the dn??

Also, does it throw a CPF message id with the error.

Is this the file I am looking for?
/QIBM/ProdData/OS400/DirSrv/ibmslapd.conf
I see this line in the file
ibm-slapdSizeLimit: 500
I changed it to
ibm-slapdSizeLimit: 2000
and performed ENDTCPSVR *DIRSRV, waited until QDIRSRV ended, then
performed STRTCPSVR *DIRSRV
But I still get
ldap_search: Sizelimit exceeded
and it's at the same os400-profile as before so it's not like we went
from 500 to 2000 users and then choked.

ldapsearch -h gdihq -s base -b "" objectclass=*

ibm-slapdSizeLimit=500

is probably why I am getting
ldap_search: Sizelimit exceeded

Where do I change that config?
