Reminds me of a query we had in our close-of-day procedure. I asked, "Anybody using such-and-such?" I hate it when old, obsolete things hang around so I whacked it (with El Capitan's approval, mind you).

Next day the proverbial s**t hit the proverbial fan. Oops. But that is often the only way to find out.
