Your problem is with your offset. Once you fix this, both your PC via
Netserver and your IBM i will display the same time for each file.

If you are on an older release of OS/400 like V5R2 or earlier, make your
QUTCOFFSET the amount difference than GMT. For example, I am in US Eastern
time zone (New York city area) so I am 5 hours earlier later than GMT, so my
offset is +5. Once you are on V5R3 which has time zone support, just set
your time zone correctly and QUTCOFFSET will automatically be correct. In
addition, when changing from Standard time to Daylight savings time it will
do this automatically at the right time.

In the US we change our time in 2 weeks (Spring ahead). WooHoooooo,

Pete

Subject: Files in NetServer Time is different

Hi,

Today I found that, when I'm looking at the time of a file through NETSERVER
is different (wrong time) than same through iSeries Navigator
(Navigator shows the correct time) through . Is it because of
the QUTCOFFSET/QTIMZON?

Currently my QUTCOFFSET is +00:00 and QTIMZON is Q0000UTC/+00:00
