The create date - and other dates - may not be what you expect. CRTDUPOBJ and CPYLIB (which uses CRTDUPOBJ) will change things on you - including the system on which created. RSTxxx leaves things intact, for the most part that I can identify. But if your product allows anything other than a restore, it might be a crapshoot.

Developing a different upgrade process has been an interesting solve to problem!!
