Access for Win install V6 error 1311

Had error with dvd 1 for V6 System i Access for Windows in MS XP Pro SP2
Selected a full install. After a minute or so,
"Error 1311 couldn't find a file"
Google postings indicate this is a Windows installer issue for any
kind of install, including MS Office. Retry had same error.
Did not find any updates to Windows Installer.
Went back and did a custom install & selected all I needed
and now it worked.
