Subject: RE: Problem with the GUI debugger

Hi,

For those of us who ignored the existance of this tool, any advice on how to get started? I find this IBM link quite unuseful :
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/index.jsp?topic=/rzamq/rzamqrunning.htm for a beginner.

"To start Debug Manager from a command prompt on your client, run the following command:

java utilities.DebugMgr"

wth does that mean?

Objet : Problem with the GUI debugger

Hello all,

I like using the GUI debugger DebugMgr.bat (that uses
jt400.jar). I find it usefull to debug CGI web applications,
among others.

But since the last update of java on my machine, it does not
work anymore. I try refreshing my copy of jt400.jar and
tes.jar but no chance.

The GUI screen appears and it connects to an Iseries but when
I click the debug button, nothings happen. Normally a window
pop up where I can enter the pgm to debug etc.

the java runtime environment on my machine is at version 6.1

any help or suggestion would be appreciated
