RE: SAS drives


Pete's correct. I have restored 3 partions with SAS drives to systems
without SAS drives (DR testing). I'm pretty sure they require V5R4M5.

There is no correlation on the drives on the system saved to the drives
on the system you are restoring on.

Also, I think SAS drives require V5R4M5.

some pre-requisites of their own, such as being on 5.4 of the OS.

If you have a system with SAS drives, or a combination of SAS and
non-SAS drives, would there be a problem with restoring to a system with
non-SAS drives?
