Re: Batch job disappearing

Don't "think" - know. Try those steps I showed you. You may have a
compile waiting in some obscure job queue somewhere which may get release
at an inopportune time. Seeing as you changed your job description, that
may be it.

I handle security here and it's amazing what some people will blame on a
security issue - without even checking a joblog. And I'm talking about
some of the people who've been on the box for quite some time before
coming here about a decade ago.

I think it was a security problem. I looked at one of the existing user
profiles, and changed my user profile (user class, group profile, job
description). Then, I tried it again, and it worked.

I think some more reading is in order before I try doing anything more.
