I also had to leave the i.
 
I was lucky to get into the SQL Server work I am now doing, with some ASP.net and C#.
 
At first I dreamed of getting a job back on the i, but as I look occassionally, there isn't much to be had.
 
On what I am working with now, I have opportunities for additional work as well.
 
There are some quirks to the SQL server but all in all, I am very happy to have had things work out this way.
