These guys used to be Source Retrieval, right? I tried calling that number
and emailing a few years ago. No answer at their number, and no response to
my email.
Are they back up and running? I know several companies who have a system
from a defunct software vendor. They can't upgrade their machines because
they don't have a critical piece of code (the serial number checker).

What if we don't allow to compile programs or we don't have correct source.
