I got it over the phone before I even got to the conference. But, since the votes weren't announced until most people were on-site, I suspect the newbies were taken out into the desert and just beaten senseless (kinda redundant, I suppose) about the head and shoulders. Would save a lot of time and potential confusion, anyway.
