Re: Qualified shipper for sending IBM i from Chicago to Salt Lake

We had a 720 shipped from Jersey City, New Jersey to Salt Lake (where I live) about 5 years ago. IBM Packed it up (did a crappy job, too.) and then Fed Ex Ground picked it up and delivered it.

It cost $600 if I recall correctly. How big is the 820 ? You get it on a U-Haul (or a one-way van rental) and I'll drive it back to Salt Lake when I fly through Chicago in two weeks! Just pay for the gas and the truck. I love that drive. Done it straight through many times.
