Hi,
It's ok we're used to the whining!

Fully aware everything is bigger and better in the states.

Even bank risk apparently.

But then again you were kind enough to share!

Cheers

Don,

I have had worse internet connections and cell phone reception in the
boonies of America, and many places around the world. This is a worldwide
phenomenon. The best suggestion when your hotel is lacking, is to find an
internet caf?, or find a Starbucks.

I hope your whining is limited to m-l. It does not endear you to the locals
and may cause degradation of performance.

Don,
I have traveled all through the UK with Denise, and I never had a
problem with Internet access. Although I was mainly doing email and
surfing
the web. Especially if you are in the cities I never had problems.

Hey,

Does internet access in the UK from 3 and 4 star hotels generally REALLY
SUCK or have I just happened to luck up on 10 or so hotels this month that
just suck? It seems that in the UK "high speed internet" is about that of
poor quality dialup lines! I'm talking Coppthorns, Milliniums,
Drurys.etc.
Speakeasy is calibrating these lines at 365k-down and 75k or so UP. this
is
just insanity!
