Thanks Eric...looks like a good reference to all that stuff.

Here's a redbook link:

Thanks Rob...I'll check out that link. I was hoping that I could use
Sametime, but since this is an Exchange shop, I doubt if the whole Lotus
thing would fly. I know they won't change email systems, and there's
probably not enough perceived value for just the IM piece.

2 - Are you talking about "Enterprise Server" of Lotus Domino or
"Enterprise Edition" of i? I did a little IBM searching for
"Enterprise
Edition" and Domino and it wasn't too fruitful. Basically, you're
trying
to find out if you purchased "Enterprise Edition" of i are you
entitled to
Domino and Sametime, right? I haven't found anything like that.

Actually, I believe the Sametime entitlement is by client, and not by
server:

Is that enough to get you started?

Lotus Sametime

Hi folks -

Help me understand this stuff. We have Enterprise Edition (I'm pretty
sure
-
how can I determine that?) and I believe that gives me some licenses
for
SameTime, right? What I want to be able to do is messaging between
green
screen users. I'm looking into green screen email, and I would rather
give
Webmail or something like that, but I also want to know what Lotus has
that
I'm entitled to use. Thoughts? Thanks!
