I'm not familiar with sFTP source. But if I wanted to run it under the native virtual machine, my 1st inclination would be to begin with the ILE C compiler, rather than attempt C to RPG translation. As a general rule, it's easier to translate from a high-level language to a low-level language than visa versa. One of my colleagues wrote an RPG to C translator, for example.
