You would use Enterprise Extenders for the replacement for Anynet, which you
can configure on V5R4 or V6R1.

6.1 is the end of the line for Anynet. I've not heard anything about a

Yes; IMO it works great. Be aware that Anynet is slated for replacement at
some stage.

Can you use ObjectConnect on the virtual Ethernet between LPARs? I made a
brief attempt a long time ago and gave up on it, but am thinking about
adding more LPARs and it might be handy.
