I have used MATMATR to get that info:

You can also use(much easier) the Retrieve System Status (QWCRSSTS) API:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/index.jsp?topic=/apis/qwcrssts.htm

Use SSTS0200 Format to get the LPAR info you are looking for.

I wonder that myself. If they need an authorization code for one of our
products, they'd need to know, but the authorization code utility
supplied with the product would tell them.
