I still that leaves the basic design. The System i was designed as a
server, not to play games and then converted to be a server.

Our company is doing the browser route but using Flex to get around
the limitations of the browser.

We tried IBM's EGL but that was not there.

I guess we will see how it all works out.

I used to think a GUI on a server was a bad idea. I am now of the opinion
that a web UI is the way to go. You can run it from any OS even hand held
devices.

Also, with a thick client if you want to change 1 field on the UI, you now
have to roll that change out to each client, not just the server.

Just some thoughts.
