Bill, you may wish to treat faxes as emails.
There are vendors out there that will fax a document when you send it
via email.
Below is one example, I am sure there are others.

Currently we use Waysidemarketing & Biscom's FAXCOM product for faxing
from the system.
We have a heavier number of faxes that we send out each day than you do.
You can embed codes within the document that will be picked up by
Faxcom.
If the efax option were available at a cheaper price, that is the route
that I would go if starting anew.
By emailing the faxes as well, you could virtually use the same coding
for both processes.

I'm looking for a fax solution that works off of codes embedded into the
document to be faxed/emailed. Most solutions have way more capability
than I need. At this time, I'm only sending faxes and emails;
approximately 100 per day. I don't need integration into Outlook or
anything like that.
I'm currently working on an MRS/DocGate solution that is on its last
legs and would like to know if there's a newer solution available.
