I've done that.
After being on the phone with IBM, it seems that the
systemdefault.properties had a line for java.home, which was messing this
whole thing up. After deleting that line, the Admin console comes up fine.
And, Man is it different at V6R1.

I have not had that problem. Have you tried ending then restarting the
admin
