Good newbie stuff on the "health of your system":
What is eating my disk?
Start with RTVDSKINF and PRTDSKINF *SYS. (Then look at the other options
in PRTDSKINF.) You must submit the RTVDSKINF off to batch and wait for
that to complete before running the PRTDSKINF.
What version of OS do I have?
DSPPTF. Look at the top heading area, next to Release.
What version of cume am I running?
Newer versions of OS use WRKPTFGRP. It will be SF99... where ... is
replaced by the version of OS. ie SF99540 for V5R4M0.
Older versions of OS use DSPPTF and look at the top line. TL08190 equals
the cume that came out on the 190th day of 2008.
What version of cume is available?

What about group ptf's?
They a little like "service packs". Although iSeries Access actually uses
the term service pack.
