Another post was about the Windows envirnonment not being good for a
business ERP. I would like to see more details on that. What we are
being told that everything is just peachy in windows. I would need
evidence to the contrary to help save the i installation.

If you listen to some people on this list, you'd think that it takes 5
admins for each Windows server to keep it running from 8-5, and that's only
if you can schedule in a restart at 5:01. My experience is that our Windows
servers have been just as stable as our "I". There are advantages and
disadvantages to each, but I wouldn't rule out a Windows based ERP package
based on the nonsense that you read here.
