Frequency has nothing to do if whether or not an email is SPAM. SPAM isyou
unsolicited commercial email. Here are a few definitions:

And if you do spam people weekly, "annoying the crap out of them," then
will no doubt find yourself blacklisted or the subject of an auto-deleterule.
In addition, if you fail to provide an opt-out, you'll also be inviolation of
US Federal law (not that there's much enforcement).
