qpjoblog? That's a different animal. Well, for a currently running job
it is. If the problem was that you were trying to look at the joblog for
a user who has *ALLOBJ (QTMHHTTP does not) you would have to
Using iNav right click on the system name. Select Application
Administration. Select Host Applications, expand i5/OS, expand All Object
and turn on Default Access for "Access job log of *ALLOBJ job".

We do a
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTOUTQ) NEWDFT('AUTCHK(*DTAAUT)')

Payroll goes to their funky output queue, etc. Then we secure the output
queue with the appropriate authorization list. And add users to the
authorization list.

Access to a specific users spool files without *SPLCTL






I am working with a client on a high security box and at this point they
have resisted giving me spool control. This has become incredibly painful
because whenever there is a CGI issue I need to ask them to email me the
spool files for QTMHHTTP. In light of them not wanting to give me
complete
spool control I am curious to know if they could just change access to the
outqueue (i.e. QEZJOBLOG) to not have it specific to the *OWNER and thus I
could view spool files?

Any other ideas that people have? Does anybody have an adopted authority
type program that I could have them install so I could have access to
certain users spool files (i.e. QTMHHTTP)?
