Yeah, that's true. But, how do you know it's true of Dave? You told Dave Odom "WRKLNK shows you your home directory".

Here's an analogy. I live in Franklin, WI. So I could say that "Franklin is my home". However, I work in Milwaukee, WI, so I spent a lot of my time there. I also travel all over, I'll be going to Crivitz, WI this weekend, and in two weeks I'll be in Dallas, TX. Next month I'll be in Las Vegas. So, Franklin is my home -- but it's not always my current location.

Granted, I spend a lot of time in Franklin. And while I'm there, my current location and my home are the same place. Just as your home directory and your current directory are the same place.

But that just means that you haven't traveled -- in other words, you haven't changed your current directory.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to get on your case -- I just want to make sure that everyone understands the distinction between home directory and current directory.
