Ok, I'll take that one back :)

I was more thinking of added OS protection from buffer overruns, untagged
pointers etc.
You're right of course, bad programs can be written in any language and on
any platform.

Speaking of a gent who's
- accidentally did powering off at inopportune times.
- see runaway queries fill the disk
- see poor performers kill the system.
