Yeah...we ran that story in Midrange Computing a few years ago. Probably
not the same programmer, but definitely the same incorrect use of DLTCMD
when he meant to use SLTCMD.

Ok, how about this one.
Many years ago, a young programmer I know ... fairly new to the AS/400, was
looking for a command to do something. He knew the first part of the
command's name ... but not the rest of it.
So, being the industrious person he was ... he typed 'SLTCMD ASN*' and
pressed enter ... thinking that he would be presented with a list of all the
commands that started with ASN.
Unfortunately, he accidentally typed a 'D' instead of a 'S' on the command
line ... you can imagine the rest.
In all fairness, the D key is right next to the S key on the keybard.
