My boss is wanting to perform some auditing over daily and system saves.
We were looking at the data areas QSAVSYS, QSAVCFG, etc to determine
last date of system save. However when we look at these data areas,
there is nothing in them. We are running a custom system save, but
definitely running SAVSYS. As I read it, the data area QSAVSYS should
be updated when running SAVSYS.

What might be causing this? Is this not the correct way to determine
last save date?

Thanks.
