"So am I taking this wrong looking for 5250 in a browser, and nothing
more?
Management has specifically cut off *any development on this software -
all
they are asking is portal access for the iSeries Access users."

We tried IAFW, but a much simpler solution for us was Mocha ActiveX 5250.
It's a browser plug in that provides 5250. I'm not sure if it will handle
all of your requirements but definitely 1, 4 & 5. I'm not sure how you'd
handle any printer requests but the browser plugin, once signed on would
enable outq access.

1. Can iSeries Access for Web do the job for fairly intensive green screen
apps. Some are s36 pgms...
2. Mostly network printers, but a few printers cabled to back of pc.
3. Future goal of single sign on.
4. Hundreds of users. Decent 525 single processor with good memory.
5. Not running websphere or any other app server - hoping to use new lite
app server

IIRC, there is a free trial period too before you buy, and it's not
terribly expensive.
