the problem now is not able to get text file onto the file in QGPL. I am
trying to load

http://home.alltel.net/craigru/jcrcmd2.html

I ftp then put C:\Unzipped\jcrcmds\jcr.txt then to QGPL\JCR which is created
as member PF with a member called JCR but it's blanks, the FTP doesn't say
there is an error or anything,

On our i, if you ran CFGTCP option 1 you would see numerous IP addresses.
This is also what you would see via
NETSTAT *IFC
However, if you ran
NETSTAT *CNN
F13=Sort by column
and sort by local port
F14=Display port numbers
Port 21 is normal FTP.
5=Display details
And, you can then see the local internet address being used.
We often have ftp binding to one of the other IP addresses (like those
reserved for Domino) when we hope that it's only using the one for
'normal' i stuff.
But that's mainly on ftp initiated from the i to others.
