Yes, our operator uses PDM as well as SEU. Under the new paradigm, we have to buy him a seat. Not only that, but we have to buy his twice-a-year backups a seat, too since they have different user profiles.

Our operator uses a twinax terminal at the console for much of his work. Not a PC. RDi is not an option at all.

One's machine gets an entitlement to a certain number of ADTS (PDM) seats based on software tier. If you're lucky, your organisational chart matches the licence structure and you don't have to buy extra seats.
