Is there any way to obtain the sequence number resulting from a SAVxxx
operation to tape in a CLP?
I have a job where I am saving a number of files to tape before processing
at end of month.
Since I use that same tape each month, and the library name is the same
each time, I end up doing a DSPTAP to list all of the file labels on the
tape.
I would like to be able to display just the data for the last save, and
also store that info somewhere.
I realize that BRMS could do this for me, but that is not an option for
the client.
Thanks,
