Re: A program in Iseries Access
Tried that. Used both single and double quotes. Got a dialog box that says:
The working directory ajerry,Local:'C:\Program Files\ibm\cloient access\' does not exist for the external tool named WRKSPLF.
ajerry, by the way, is my user id on both of our systems.

Jerry,
What did you use for the "Working Directory" value? I left it blank,
but, when I ran it, I got an error saying, naturally, "Invalid Working
Directory."
I tried just plugging in something from the 'Browse File System...'
options, but it gives me the following error:
C:\Program Files\ibm\client access>
'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
The first line is the working directory I selected.

Select, Run from the menu.
Select External Tools and then select (again) External Tools.
Click on the New Launch Config icon on the Far Left (the one with the
andsign) of the panel that appears.
Then under the Name value I entered the name of the .exe (ie Wrksplf),
Clientthen click to 'browse file system' and drill to the exe in the IBM
Addaccess folder and select the exe.
Click apply, then run to test. Close the app. When you select Run,
External Tools again it should appear at the top of the context menu.
thethe other exe's as desired by repeating the steps above.
