RE: AFP IPDS spool file

Chris,

Besides Gumbo and CoolSpools which were already mentioned, Brad Stone's BVS Tools has the
functionality you are looking for.

One thing to consider when looking at these tools, make sure they allow you to choose between image
PDF and text PDF.

In other words, some AFPDS to PDF converters only process the AFPDS as an image. The nice thing is
this usually provides a more exact duplicate of what the printed AFPDS document looks like. The
downside is that image PDFs tend to be bigger and are not searchable since there's no actual text
inside.
