Gregory,

I can see where this would work, but I was looking for something a little more
passive. Is there a way to do this using a journal someplace?

Try attaching a data queue to the output queue? Monitor the queue for

Subject: Spool File Printing

If I have a spool file that goes to save after it prints, is there any way
on the System i to tell if someone comes along later and releases it for a
second copy? I know that it will go back to save status after the second
operation, but I need to find out if the second print has happened.
