Quantify processing wasted by lots of little jobs...

We currently have lots (5000+) of quick running little print jobs submitted to batch during the course
of a day. Most are submitted by just a couple of processes.

Since creating a job is a relatively expensive task on the System i, I'm wondering if there's some way
to calculate the processing time wasted by creating all the little jobs.

The idea being, I want to show that it'd be worth modify the process to add a entry to a data queue
with the print request instead of submitting the job and have a NEP reading the data queue and process
the requests.
