Hi,

I have a file with product specific data.

In that file I have a column called rfismi ( item reference) .

I have a excel spread sheet with the item reference information and also the other columns information.

What I want is to create an update query in order to update the column or field as you prefer with the item reference information.

I have this ideas to make it possible:

1 - With the tool that allow to send information to iSeries, I think that if I replace all the AS/400 information with the new one that I can do it?

2 - Maybe if create a new table where that information is, I can with SQL create a query that updates table1 with the information that is on table2

3 - I create a connection to AS/400 with iSeries ODBC driver. I can read data from as/400 trough access but I can't update that date. So, my other idea was to update data from Access. But Access can't update a recordset of AS/400

How can I solve my problem? Any of this ideas my solve my problem?

Any more ideas?

Thanks,
Marco
