Booth,

IBM has changed the name. Fait accompli, name recognition be damned.

The more System i servers they sell, the smaller your AS/400 constituency
gets. Your business is going to shrink while you maintain that attitude.

You are not carrying water, but pushing back upstream.

I don't want to discuss what should be or shouldn't be. Name brand
recognition is hard to build and takes time, money, and energy. The
AS/400 brand name was recognized, System i is not. Nothing we say or do
changes that fact. All we can do is react and operate within our
budgets. My budget does not include money or energy to make my
customers aware that the name has changed yet again. I just want to
communicate my message, not carry IBM's water for them.
