AW: REPLACE function in SQL

Hi,

Do you want to remove these characters or do you want to translate these
characters 1 to 1.
If you want to replace a single character with an other single character,
just use the scalar function TRANSLATE.

In the following example all numbers are replaced with *blanks:
Translate(MyField, ' ', '0123456789')

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Betreff: REPLACE function in SQL

I am using the REPLACE function on my SELECT statement as follows to
remove the quotes embedded in a string:
SELECT replace(field,'"', '') FROM file
This work great. But, I have other chars I want to replace in the same
field at the same time and can't quite get me head around how to do it. I

guess I want to do multiple REPLACEs. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
