The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

That happens to be OCL.
Remove all the lines starting // and put the
rest in a member and use the FMTDTA
command to specify the input file, output file,
and sort spec member and that will run in batch.
We do it all the time.
I've never used SBMDBJOB and don't see where you
would tell it the output file and sort spec member.

Thanks for the suggestion. So the example you submitted below with #GSORT
will run in a //BCHJOB type job that is submitted via SBMDBJOB?
