When we changed the auditing values It turns out that we changed the auditing
ctl to objaud we flooded the journals with the zc/zr entries which increases
the # of entries and the jrnrcv's are in qsys.

Hi Kirk, no to 1 and I'm on an 825.

I checked BRM and since we turned on the audit journal the savsys has been
running longer, why does updating the audit journal extend the runtime of
savsys?

Thanks

#1 Did you IPL 'before' the save? The system sets a bit after it has
touched an object for the first time. An IPL clears that bit. I've heard
do an IPL and then save can make them longer. IBM suggests doing the IPL
after any saves.

#2 I haven't tried this to see, Are you running a 5xx? I thinking maybe
the save kicked the in process to install Firmware PTFs (MHxxxxx)
