JackPerhaps a little late to respond with this, but I don't think V6 has support for Vista - as per this
"Note: No support currently is planned for Rational version 6.x products." found in the page at http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21250765 And"This announcement serves to identify that IBM® Rational® products currently do not support Microsoft® Windows® Vista."
This was as of last December. But check out this link: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/dw_thread.jsp?forum=278&thread=152368&message=13921322&cat=9&q=vista#13921322 Maybe you've been there - good luck! You must really love the bleeding edge! Vern At 12:13 PM 3/16/2007, you wrote:
Good news - someone at IBM had their ears up and have taken some action with the WDSC Upgrade processor. Today when I made my daily attempt to run the RPU, I was informed that a fix would be loaded. When that was complete it found the current upgrades and has begun to load them to V6 on my Home Premium Vista machine. Now as we all know, that might take "some time" but its great to see that it can get that far. I guess all wounds can be healed given time. Jack Derham Direct Systems, Inc. P.S. I have turned off the UAC in Vista. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
