It may not be the "fault" of the generating application but that's probably were it will need to be addressed. If you look at the spool file that you're sending to the printer it's probably going to be full of a bunch of printer commands with data peppered in between. (Is a postscript analogy appropriate here?) By specifying a page range on the spool file itself you miss some of the commands. It could be a one "page" spool file that has generates those 1000+ labels by specifying 1000+ as the number of copies command (within the spool file). Conversely, you could generate 1000+ spool files with a batch quantity of 1 in each. That might be more to your liking, although it would probably slow down the process. Dave Parnin
